NCR VOYIX has earned the trust of businesses large and small — from the best-known brands around the world to your local favorite around the corner.Senior Tax Analyst, MexicoLocation: Mexico City, MexicoPosition Summary:The Mexico Senior Tax Analyst will be a key member of the global corporate tax team, working in Mexico and reporting to the Mexico Tax Manager. This position will assist with various aspects of the Mexico tax function for the organization, including both direct and indirect taxes. The role will partner closely with other various teams including accounting and finance to add value across the business. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, flexible and can handle multiple projects while producing accurate and timely results.Key Areas of Responsibility:The Senior Tax Analyst will assist the Tax Manager with:· Preparing monthly and annual income tax returns for Mexico entity· Help with reporting of advance tax payments· Prepare indirect tax returns and process payments· Assist with resident and non-resident withholding tax reporting processes· Prepare Mexico tax provision calculations and prepare journal entries· Help with local statutory financial statement reporting process· Prepare tax account reconciliations periodically· Help with tax reporting for non-resident shareholder entities· Prepare responses to tax notices and other inquiries as needed· Assist with both direct and indirect tax audits as needed· Help monitor tax landscape for any direct or indirect tax law changes that may impact the business· Coordinate tax audits and respond to SAT requirements.· Oversee electronic accounting and CFDI reconciliation.· Stay up to date on national and international tax legislation. Support tax planning and budgeting.· Other duties as assigned by the Mexico Tax ManagerBasic Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree, or advanced student, in accounting career studies, plus 3-5 years corporate tax experience· Basic understanding of direct and indirect tax laws in Mexico· Strong overall computer and data management skills including familiarity with general ledger systems and solutions· Strong functional and technical tax skills, organizational and interpersonal skills· Ability to communicate effectively with global business and finance teams· Ability to work both individually and in a collaborative environment and meet critical deadlines· Fluency in English, both written and oral skills, is preferred but not required.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the jobEEO StatementIntegrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
