Job Category: Supplier Quality & PerformanceJob Description:In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead improvements in global area supply chain performance in support of business needs.; Areas of improvement include on-time delivery, quality, cost initiatives, and parts/assembly issues within the company.
  • Use appropriate tools and processes including, but should not be limited to the following: Lean Techniques, Six Sigma Tools Statistical Process Control (SPC), Capability Studies, Process Mapping, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Repeatability and Reproducibility Calibration Analysis (Gage R&R).
  • Manage projects to closure, using quality assurance associates, engineering, and Procurement as needed across the enterprise.
  • Conduct supplier training on the use of Lean Manufacturing requirements, Six Sigma.
  • and the Global Supplier Quality Manual.
  • Track and monitor supplier performance metrics in the respective global area
  • Conduct project debriefs for senior management.
  • Lead the supplier approval process, Conduct the quality system audits process. (ESAC) on site to include follow up and closure of open items discovered during audits.
  • Assist product managers in major supplier business reviews.

You view talent development as an organizational imperative.For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor Degree as Mechanical, Industrial Engineer or related, with training in NDT by ASNT as level II.
  • Bilingual 95%
  • 7 years of experience in quality or engineering functions.
  • 7 years' experience in supplier improvement efforts with demonstrated analytical, communication, project management and decision making skills; preferably experience in operations and/or procurement.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Experience in non-destructive testing development LPT and MPT, as a technician level II minimum by ASNT.
  • Experience in design of experiments and cause mode and effect analysis.
  • Availability and documentation to travel 75%
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart
  • Project management and auditing skills.
  • Ability to read prints and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
  • Knowledge of quality regulations and standards such as ISO (International Organization for Standardization), FMEA. (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
  • Knowledge in interpretation of non-destructive testing results, with at least 1.5 years of experience.
