Job Description
- Maintain assertive communication with the client. Comply with client requirements, including all legal and operational areas.
- Report company status and results to the WW leadership team.
- Develop short- and long-term strategies in support of company objectives.
- Support the HR department in union negotiations and requirements.
- Ensure that coordination and planning activities support company objectives.
- Communicate company objectives, strategies, and activities to staff.
- Ensure that company staff receive adequate training and tools.
- Establish routine management targets for the company.
- Identify and implement cost reduction activities.
- Implement, manage, and support lean waste objectives and projects.
- Evaluate and establish operating procedures.
- Ensure that established operating procedures are followed for all production operations and processes.
- Ensure that company efficiency standards are met or exceeded while maintaining WW quality standards. Efficiency standards are set by the Operations Manager and communicated through Time per Activity (TPA) and Labor Efficiency Goals (PET).
- Ensure workplace safety standards are met, including proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
- Ensure execution of total quality management principles, including but not limited to Policy Management, Shop Floor Management, and Routine Management processes.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the company’s management team.
- Ensure company compliance with all WW policies and procedures.
- Promote the company’s Leadership Competencies.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and ensure compliance with company confidentiality policies and applicable state and federal laws.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, business partners, and employees.
- Ensure that supervisory staff are cross-trained in multiple company functions and adopt a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Develop, motivate, and train employees at all levels for their professional development and the future growth of the company.
- Work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Collaborate in problem-solving.
- Inspiring change through communication at all impacted levels.
- Understanding revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results.
- Leading continuous process improvements to achieve a safe and cost-efficient work environment that meets performance targets.
- Knowledge of SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management.
- Possessing a valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.
- Advanced English.
