If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Testing Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, this role involves responsibilities for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.What a typical day looks like:FUNCTIONAL
  • Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.).
  • Develops instrument drivers.
  • Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
  • Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
  • Develops test plans and procedures.
  • Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test , test fixtures.
  • Develops quotations for functional test hardware and software.
ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS SCREENING (ESS)
  • Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
  • Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
  • Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
  • Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.
SYSTEMS & Software
  • Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
  • Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.
  • Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
  • Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
  • Performs test ability analysis (DFT).
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics.
  • Experience in similar position in manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Test instrumentation experience.
  • Experience developing /modifies test programs using various languages (C#, Java, Lab View Perl, Python or others).
  • Strong experience and knowledge using flying probe test system.
  • Basic knowledge PHYTON of C/C++ scripting, familiarity with the MatLab and LabView test stand software platforms and other software skills such as Python.
