
Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans on key mechanical equipment (pumps, gearboxes, compressors, furnaces, etc.).
- Perform basic failure analysis (RCFA) and propose low- and medium-impact corrective actions.
- Participate in improving lubrication, alignment, and balancing routines.
- Maintain technical records and up-to-date maintenance reports in the CMMS system.
- Support in installation or modification projects of equipment under supervision.
- Collaborate with technicians and operators to ensure the correct execution of routines.
- Design and optimize preventive, predictive and condition mechanical maintenance plans.
- Lead complex failure analysis (RCFA) and implement improvement projects that increase MTBF and reduce MTTR.
- Coordinate mechanical commissioning activities for new equipment or relevant modifications.
- Evaluate and manage equipment criticality, defining critical spare parts strategies together with the warehouse area.
- Train technicians and operators in autonomous maintenance routines and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in safety, costs and reliability, proposing savings and efficiency projects.
- Act as a technical reference for complex problems and support higher-level maintenance engineering.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Career: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in automotive maintenance is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in Operations / Maintenance; Maintenance Planning & Control
- At least 2 years of experience in Automotive Industry, Aluminum Handling and Manufacturing Industry
- Skills: Leadership, Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills, Communication, Teamwork.
- Proficient English
