Maintenance Mechanical EngineerObjectiveEnsure the reliability and availability of mechanical equipment by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance practices, failure analysis, and continuous improvement.Main Responsibilities
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans on key mechanical equipment (pumps, gearboxes, compressors, furnaces, etc.).
  • Perform basic failure analysis (RCFA) and propose low- and medium-impact corrective actions.
  • Participate in improving lubrication, alignment, and balancing routines.
  • Maintain technical records and up-to-date maintenance reports in the CMMS system.
  • Support in installation or modification projects of equipment under supervision.
  • Collaborate with technicians and operators to ensure the correct execution of routines.
  • Design and optimize preventive, predictive and condition mechanical maintenance plans.
  • Lead complex failure analysis (RCFA) and implement improvement projects that increase MTBF and reduce MTTR.
  • Coordinate mechanical commissioning activities for new equipment or relevant modifications.
  • Evaluate and manage equipment criticality, defining critical spare parts strategies together with the warehouse area.
  • Train technicians and operators in autonomous maintenance routines and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in safety, costs and reliability, proposing savings and efficiency projects.
  • Act as a technical reference for complex problems and support higher-level maintenance engineering.
Position Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Career: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • Experience in automotive maintenance is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operations / Maintenance; Maintenance Planning & Control
  • At least 2 years of experience in Automotive Industry, Aluminum Handling and Manufacturing Industry
  • Skills: Leadership, Strong analytical and Problem-solving skills, Communication, Teamwork.
  • Proficient English
