- Idea Generation: Developing initial design concepts based on client requirements, market needs, and technical feasibility, when needed, with the support of the Design Sr Engineer as main design expert.
- CAD Software: Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to create detailed 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.3.- Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Performing simulations to analyze the stress, strain, and thermal behavior of the design to ensure it meets safety and performance requirements.
- Testing and Validation: Conducting tests on prototypes to ensure they function as expected, meet regulatory standards, and perform under various conditions.
- Material Properties: Pre-selects materials for components based on strength, weight, cost, and environmental factors, which will be confirmed by experts.
- Assembly and Integration: Providing guidance on the assembly process and troubleshooting any issues that arise during production.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for all design phases, from initial sketches to final production.
- Internal customers: Communicating with plants / regions about design progress, cost estimates, and potential risks.
- Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrics or similar required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD, Manufacturing and Casting
