The Senior Manager, Project Procurement will lead the strategy and execution of FF&E and OS&E sourcing for luxury hotel openings and renovations across the Americas. This role coordinates with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with brand standards.
  • Liaise with owners and representatives to introduce preferred solutions cross categories
  • Lead the procurement strategy for luxury hotel openings, ensuring high-quality standards in alignment with brand requirements.
  • Develop and manage the procurement timeline and budget for pre-opening projects to ensure successful and timely openings.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including Technical and Design, International Purchasing, Management Control, and Legal departments, to align procurement efforts with project goals.
  • Oversee the feasibility studies and preliminary estimates related to procurement needs for each project.
  • Create, implement, and maintain tracking tools to monitor procurement progress and facilitate detailed reporting to senior management.
  • Provide guidance to third party procurement agents
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, pricing, and timely delivery of FF&E and OS&E.
  • Coordinate logistical follow-up for procurement orders until installation on site, ensuring adherence to timeline and budget constraints.
  • Establish performance metrics and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with international procurement regulations and standards across all projects.
  • Organize development sessions and meetings with stakeholders to facilitate technical and operational planning.
Procurement experience in luxury hotel openings and renovations.Strategic FF&E and OS&E procurement management experience.Position Location: Cancun
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business (with a focus on purchasing or hospitality), or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement and project management within the luxury hospitality sector or a reputable hotel procurement agency with international exposure.
  • Strong understanding of the Mexican market
  • Strong understanding of FF&E and OS&E categories, along with luxury hotel concepts.
Skills:
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of technical terms related to construction and procurement in the hospitality context.
  • Mastery of office tools, particularly spreadsheet software, for budget tracking and reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
