Your RoleAs a Project Architect you will need to coordinate with a team of consultants to deliver architectural projects. Leverage your industry experience and technical insight to drive client projects from concept through build. You need to actively participate in all phases of the project phases including documentation and construction administration. Must thrive with personal responsibility and accountability but embody and embrace open communication and team-oriented success.Experience in industrial architecture is highly valued, particularly in the design and execution of manufacturing plants, logistics centers, or distribution facilities. Strong technical knowledge of building systems, industrial codes, and construction technologies is essential to succeed in this role.What You Will DoManage all phases of projects, from project documentation set-up and construction administration.Manage project scheduling, budgets, and set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants. Management of related costs by supervising project developments and skills in clash detection with digital tools.Provide project team coordination, specification, and material selections required for construction.Guarantee the delivery of the architectural and/or technical aspects of a project.Resolution of complex technical and design issues as they arise during document preparation and construction administrationManage a range of project team sizes, comprised of consultants, project architects, interior designers and job captainsPreparing and ensuring accuracy of technical documentsParticipating in preconstruction phases, RFIs and value engineering.Participating in the construction administration of project assignments, including quality control and submittal reviews,Working with consultants, contractors, fabricators and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesProduce architectural drawingConduct site inspectionsManage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape civil consultants and/or involved parties.Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officialsProvide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challengesReview technical documents to ensure accuracyOversee the construction administration of project assignments with focus on managing design intent and quality control. Ability to maintain design integrity, construction quality and supervision of materials that meet international standardsLead coordination with contractors, fabricators and regulatory agencies to ensure constructed project meets overall project objectivesAble to perceive or prevent risks in any part of the processYour QualificationsBachelor of Architecture or foreign equivalent.Licensed or registered architect5+ years of project experience in an architectural practiceProven experience in industrial architecture projects is required — such as manufacturing plants, logistics hubs, warehouses, or production facilities.Proficiency in REVIT, Sketch Up, and construction administration software.Working knowledge of national and international building codes, standards, building construction, and building structuresFamiliarity with technical requirements and construction standards specific to the industrial sector (e.g. FM Global, IBC, fire protection, insulated panel systems, industrial MEP coordination).100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skillsMid-scale to large construction experienceExperience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancyStrong leadership, communication and relationship management skillsConstruction documentation and/or design detail development experienceAbility to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and emotional intelligenceExperience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teamsProven fiscal accountability and responsibility on various project typesMust have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationshipsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skillsHow to ApplySubmit an online application including a resume and portfolio in PDF form.
