MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Engineering and Technology Engineer (Process and Pack) works under the leadership of the Engineering and Technology Manager (Process &Pack) and is responsible for leading and implementing innovation, savings, capacity, and others SC projects.
This will include supporting the development of technology strategies and process & pack technology logic.
The role will provide analytical support and leading in defining optimum technology criteria for innovation, capacity and saving projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Facilitate/co-ordinate Process and Pack Technology support to agreed innovation projects (through diverse functional networks) facilitating the development of agreed common solutions when new machinery is required using Best Practice Tools and Processes (EPM, Aount,EMOC; ProjectManagement).
- Generate capital estimates and detailed trial and installation programmes for the process and pack technology areas with others regional teams as planning, R&D, etc
- Develop New Process Technology solutions in response to Strategy assessing fit/impact with current operations.
- Develop understanding of the machine/material interfaces, ensuring optimum solutions are delivered.
- Work with key external partners / suppliers on the development of new process technology to support innovations.
- For key raw materials, support R&D in the development for innovations, ensuring that all aspects of SC have been considered and optimized.
WHAT YOU ´LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Good Knowledge of Process and Pack Technology.
- Able to prepare machine/ process stream specifications and machinery project management networks.
- Knowledge in Engineering project implementations
- Knowledge in EPM/EEM
- Knowledge in risk analysis
- English
