- Provide operational direction to accounting teams which includes organizing and monitoring work processes, and providing direction in workload balance and leading daily work in order to achieve the month end and quarter end close calendar.
- Develop and deliver performance metrics and perform data analysis as needed to assess various performance attributes of cycles, including process and performance efficiencies, identifying opportunity areas.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives as aligned with leadership to standardize or automate process steps, harmonize data, identify and support the implementation of tools to improve accuracy and efficiency, reduce process costs and maximize investment returns.
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholder's to prepare the appropriate service level agreements and key performance indicators which define cost, quality and control.
- Responsible for the leadership and development of direct reports.
- Provides exceptional internal/external customer service to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows and process maps, to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Contributes to the team effort by supporting the Director, GBS A2R in building a high performing team, and executing additional projects.
- Serve as a resource/escalation point of contact to teams for interpreting policies and procedures relating to activities.
- Stay current on technology and process trends as well as industry benchmarks in order to identify and implement best practices.
- Monitors SOX controls and related activities to obtain evidence regarding the effectiveness and compliance of existing controls.
- Provides interface support with independent public accountants and others in connection with regular reviews, audits and special projects.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience.
- Job related experience for 5-7 year(s) minimum.
- Certifications/Licenses/Other: CPA preferred.
- Experience in supervising global, multinational and remotes teams within a matrix organization, with demonstrated ability to work across multiple critical paths and resolve conflicts in a collaborative manner.
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills
- Fluent in English language

- Strong skills in Microsoft Suite, especially in Excel
- Expert knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), especially in SAP and/or JDE
