The work arrangements are fully onsite.Scope of Leadership RoleThe Human Resources Manager is responsible for functional leadership at Regal Rexnord’s Commercial Gearing production facility in the Apodaca region of Monterrey, Mexico. This location is a $65M+ business with ~66 salaried management and professional staff, and ~250-400 hourly union associates. Directly reporting to this position are 3-4 team members.This critical role is a strategic hands-on (onsite) business partner who is viewed as a trusted advisor to plant leadership. The successful incumbent will have a global mindset and be capable of influencing business outcomes through functional expertise, analytics, and metrics.The HR Manager will also support the Plant Manager with transformative change initiatives that elevate the site to a ‘center of excellence’ for the Gearing Division and a destination of choice for external customers.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and deploying site level people and organizational strategies, in addition to providing guidance and oversight of key HR initiatives and activities to include but not limited to: talent acquisition and retention, performance management, training and development, positive associate/union relations, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, engagement, equitable compensation and benefits, change management, policy development/administration/compliance, HRIS, and payroll.Actively role model Regal Rexnord’s Core Values, including site and organization EH&S efforts. Drive a culture of safety and provide active leadership relative to safety accountability.Demonstrates the use of 80/20, continuous improvement and workforce planning initiatives with a sense of urgency that optimizes resource allocation in support of Commercial Gearing projects for Apodaca to achieve desired operating efficiencies.Lead and implement new and existing talent management initiatives including: performance management and talent acquisition strategies; talent review and succession planning; and career development actions for high potential associates that establishes a robust pipeline of diverse leadership talent.Manage, coach, and develop HR team members to build a high performing team capable of supporting transformational change in the facility. Drive accountability and ownership through expectations of a strong say/do and continuous improvement mindset. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, optimize HR resources, and develop competencies and skills that enhance the value of HR to the business.Use experience, data, and analytics to drive actions and provide insights, guidance and expertise to enable effective implementation and achievement of KPIs and desired business outcomes.Provide strong oversight on daily or complex employee relations issues. Facilitate resolution of associate relations issues in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention and other problem resolution techniques.Represent the organization in annual contract negotiations with labor union. Oversee administration of collective bargaining agreement and grievance process, while engaging in ongoing informal communications with union leadership when required.Provide guidance and counsel regarding legislative, regulatory and compliance issues including company policies, local practices and procedures, and federal to ensure consistency across business functions.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSQualification RequirementsBachelors degree is required, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field. Masters degree is a plus.8+ years of progressive HR experience including HR business partner responsibilities and 3+ years managing an HR team.
