units, Thales in Latam region represents a complex organization encompassing industrialization,
sales, strategic accounts, services, production and support activity.
Constant and demanding evolution of the market trends in the field of Compensation & Benefits
practices requires developing adequate company reaction, to maintain a balanced and coherent
remuneration policy, preventing the risk of any underestimation and wage inequalities.
A compensation and benefits Specialist is responsible for ensuring fair and accurate
compensation, including regular salaries, bonuses, stock options, pensions, and any additional
types of employee benefits by using analytical models and building remuneration & benefits
schemes, which secures employees’ motivation in line with the market trends and budgetary
restrictions. All these activities is supported by C&B and T&C Manager in LATAM.
As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist / Expert, he/she will be working at the heart of HR
projects and challenges with a high degree of visibility, interacting with stakeholders from diverse
backgrounds.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Manage Annual Compensation Review process according to Thales standards and
reporting rules.
  • Cooperate closely with the Thales International Compensation & Benefits Team to
implement on the country level C&B policies across the region, processes and projects
in line with the Group strategy.
  • Provide C&B expertise and support to the Regional Stakeholders, Country HRBP’s,
country Management & any other stakeholders.
  • Lead internal projects of Compensation & Benefits within the region.
  • Maintain consistency in the categorization and evaluation of positions in the country and
global dimension.
  • Manage end to end process of Compensation benchmarking & related surveys.
  • Take care to maintain a coherent remuneration and benefits policies, preventing the risk
of any underestimation and wage inequalities, in alignment with local labor law regulations for different countries.Support HRBP’s and Managers in providing current market trends regarding
Compensation & Benefits practices/packages.
  • Support HRBP’s in job matching and compensation benchmarking for different locations
across LATAM North.
  • Collaborate with C&B and T&C Manager LATAM in the preparation, management and
control of the salary budget and salary reviews.
  • Work together HRIS team to ensure data cleaning in WorkDay System.
  • Support coordination of LTI, MTI, STI & Sales Awards process.
  • Facilitate & manage Thales Share plan process across LATAM North.
  • Support validation of salary proposals along with TA & country HRBPs for LR 9 & LR 10
(local contracts);
  • Overall administration of Medical Insurance, Life and workman compensation and
benefits contracts with the insurance providers.
  • Promotes benefits improvements, according to the market trends and region needs.
International/ National Mobility:
  • Manage individual mobility files for Expatriates & VIE’s within a defined scope, in
compliance with Group’s International Mobility policies.
  • As & when needed, provides data/cost estimation to managers and HR before an
expatriation.
  • Coordinates National mobility in the region LATAM North;
WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
  • 6 years of experience in a position related to the analysis of remuneration and work with
large amounts of data.
  • Experience in HR department; Compensation & Benefits
  • Ability to work in an international organization in a matrix structure.
  • Ability to build relations and cooperate with all level employees.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage Global projects.
  • Ability to create and analyze reports, indicators.
  • Very good communication & organization skills;
