Johnson Electric is now searching for a Finance Director for our facility in Calera, Zacatecas.Job Title: Finance DirectorLocation: Mexico – Caler, Zacatecas FacilitySalary: Highly Competitive Base Salary plus IncentiveReporting to: Regional LeadershipRelocation: Relocation package provided for non-local candidatesSummary: The Finance Director will lead and rebuild the finance function in Mexico for Johnson Electric, a multinational automotive organization. This role requires a senior finance executive with extensive experience in the automotive industry and strong knowledge of Mexican financial regulations. The position is critical to ensuring compliance, driving cost control, and managing financial operations in a complex multinational environment.Key Responsibilities:

Re-establish and lead the finance department, including recruitment and staff development
Ensure compliance with Mexican legal, tax, and accounting standards, including SAT regulations
Lead cost reduction initiatives and strengthen financial controls
Oversee transfer pricing policies and ensure regulatory alignment
Monitor tariff developments and assess financial impact
Collaborate with global finance and cross-functional teams
Lead change management within the finance function
Maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and risk management
Advise executive leadership on financial planning and strategy

Key Competencies:

Strategic financial leadership
Deep understanding of Mexican tax, legal, and accounting frameworks
Expertise in transfer pricing and tariff-related planning
Strong cost control and operational finance skills
Proven team leadership and rebuilding experience
High adaptability in uncertain environments
Effective cross-functional communication
Skilled in change management

Qualifications and Experience:

20+ years of experience
Automotive industry background with multinational corporations
Experience leading finance functions in Mexico
In-depth knowledge of Mexican financial regulations
Proven success in cost reduction, compliance, and strategic planning
Experience with cross-border financial operations
Fluent in Spanish and English
