Resumen: Is responsible for supporting the procurement process by executing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring the availability of materials required for production. This position plays a key role in managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting cost-efficient sourcing within the metal-mechanical manufacturing environment. Responsabilidades:Mains Responsibilities:Execute purchase orders according to MRP signals and production requirements.Maintain updated records of suppliers, lead times, and material availability.Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely material supply and prevent production delays.Coordinate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align material flow with operational needs.Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipping status, and delivery performance.Support the negotiation of prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions under supervision.Track and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, quantities, or quality issues.Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and prepare purchasing reports.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and supplier management procedures.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (recent graduate or 1–2 years of experience).Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).Basic understanding of supply chain, purchasing, and inventory control.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).Preferred CompetenciesTeamwork and collaboration in cross-functional environments.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Basic negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
