- Lead and drive a customer-centric culture for the entire team in order to deepen customer relationships and take advantage of the Bank's extensive relationships, as well as its systems and knowledge.
- Lead daily operations for cash management services including payments (wires, ACH, SWIFT), account management, and liquidity processing.
- Manage Institutional Payment Systems (SPEI, SPID, MOTS, SIAC, CEP, Score, Vostro, OPIN and GTX).
- Establish and oversee payment system monitoring routines payment system connections at the primary and alternate sites.
- Review and authorize SPEI, SPID, and SIAC payment orders.
- Monitor charges for use of Banxico systems and reports to GTB customers.
- Oversee and lead the operation of the Trade Hub for Latin America, maintaining a standard operating model and meeting the needs of clients in different countries.
- Lead the after-sales service, credit, and cash management operations for the GTB product.
- Lead and train the management team to ensure profitable and efficient development and growth of Supply Chain/Customer programs.
- Manage service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and high-quality execution.
- Leads the operational teams that open accounts and implement Cash Management products and services, ensuring timely compliance with customer requirements and adherence to external and internal regulations. (GTB Function)
- Leads the After-Sales Service team for GTB Business, addresses specific customer needs, identifies opportunities for process and product improvement, and implements strategies in conjunction with other areas of the Bank to improve their structural performance.
- Generates, implements, and supervises the execution of the customer-focused service strategy in accordance with the institution's strategic guidelines and following policies for operational risk control, as well as regulatory and policy compliance.
- Ensure robust internal controls to minimize operational risk and meet regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC, OFAC).
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to support internal and external reviews.
- Responsible for providing induction to the position to each new contributor to the team, (whether for new income, promotion or side change), providing general information about the GFSBI, (vision, mission and culture) as well as explaining its job description, key roles and objectives in order for the collaborator to place their role within the GFSBI by strengthening their sense of belonging and reduce the time of the learning curve.
- Understands the Bank's risk culture and how risk appetite should be considered in daily activities and decisions.
- Creates an environment where your team performs efficient and effective operations in their respective areas, while ensuring compliance and effectiveness of daily business controls in order to comply with obligations aimed at reducing operational risk, the risk of regulatory noncompliance, the risk of money laundering and financing of terrorism and conduct risk, which include the responsibilities established under the Operational Risk Management Framework, the Risk Management Framework for Regulatory Compliance, the International Manual Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Operations, or related field; master's preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in banking operations, with a focus on cash management or treasury services.
- Strong understanding of global payments processing, account services, and liquidity management.
- Familiarity with SWIFT, ISO 20022, wire systems (CHIPS, Fedwire), and local clearing systems.
- Proven experience managing large teams and complex processes under regulatory scrutiny.
- Preferred Skills:
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification.
- Experience with core banking and payment systems
- Knowledge of digital banking operations, APIs, and real-time payment infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
