- Develop strategic sourcing plans and manage assigned commodities
- Lead supplier benchmarking and supplier base consolidation for the Americas
- Negotiate supplier terms and ensure alignment with JE global policies
- Establish and manage regional supplier bases in line with IATF16949 and ISO 9000
- Support quality, cost, and delivery targets with escalation support as needed
- Analyze commodity markets and propose savings and budgeting plans
- Collaborate with global SCS teams and local purchasing stakeholders
- Drive sourcing strategies in new product development and manage MOQs
- Support timely payments, supplier reporting, and expedite materials as needed
- Recommend and implement supplier selection and debar decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of sourcing experience with 2+ years in Supplier or Commodity Management
- Familiarity with commodity cost drivers and strategic supplier management
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of automotive quality requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English; Spanish and Mandarin are a plus
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business
- Experience in global supplier negotiation and alignment across regions
- Exposure to supplier quality escalation and issue resolution processes
- Involvement in product launch and manufacturing sourcing strategies
