- To follow up the GTM plan aligned to the company strategies
- To follow up activities related to regulatory/legislation in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean. These includes:
- Manage, coordinate and conduct the normative/ regulatory approach and related activities that support the business strategy in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, for the main industries served by the company (i.e. Food, Industrial, Home Care), to accelerate projects and sales growth in certain market segments.
- Support for the preparation of writings and management of procedures to the Health Authority -COFEPRIS
- Regulatory support to technical documentation in synergy with Corporate Quality, labeling, international regulations on organic products, GMOs, among others, global permissibility of materials, review of declarations / nutritional claims recommendations (086 Mexican Law -Codex).
- Review of specific rules for food, review of application sheets in Inno Days and Food Summit, commercial denomination of food.
- Elaboration of Procedures and administration of databases.
- Regulatory Review of the raw materials of the portfolio and new products in Central American and Caribbean countries with the support of external consultants.
- Representation and detection of risks and opportunities through participation in different business organizations such as CANACINTRA, CONCAMIN, CANAMI, CNA, among others in the active landscape in terms of regulation.
- Influencing through the regulatory bodies (e.g. health and technical committees)
- Indirect Lobbying with manufacturers / institutes authorities / consultants.
- Participation in seminars, forums, discussions in recent business chambers and support in internal seminars such as Webinars, Talks on regulatory issues of interest.
- Relation and support targeted customer to ongoing potential projects, as a differentiated service.
- GSRA (Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs) meetings

- Ingredient Approval Systems
- Safety Data Sheet authoring Database
- Food Engineer / Food Technologist
- At least 5 years’ experience in food ingredients
- Technical background
- Excellent communication skills
- English needed
