The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain.
This involves overseeing various aspects of logistics, from procurement and inventory management to transportation and distribution, ensuring products reach their destination efficiently cost-effectively & Quality Control for the operations.
Key Responsibilities (Main Objectives)
Customer Service:
Addressing the internal customers inquiries related to logistics and resolving collection & delivery-related issues.
Data Analysis:
Analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and optimizing processes.
Problem Solving:
Identifying and resolving gaps or issues within the supply chain, such as delays or discrepancies.
Compliance
: Ensuring compliance with regulations related to logistics Quality and cost operations for First, Last and Middle-Miles.
Reporting:
Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations while generating reports on quality control metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, customer services and Logistics carriers to ensure the user experience increment.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum education:
Bachelor ´s degree
Language proficiency:
English / Spanish
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in inventory management, quality assurance, or logistics operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and data analysis tools.
Office tools (Excel, PPT,)
Communication:
Strong written and verbal English skills for documentation and reporting.
Problem Solving:
Ability to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot operational discrepancies, and implement solutions.
Leadership:
Experience managing teams and training staff on best practices.
Previous warehouse experience.
Basic knowledge of registration systems and standard operating procedures.
Bias for Action.
Proactivity in detecting and solving incidents.
Preferred Experience in a 3PL environment or supply chain logistics.
Preferred Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with Data Analysis and patterns found-driven, process Management familiarity with the follow-up and results driven is preferred.
