When they reach our regions, they require full attention, quick action and high connectivity within the BD and senior DSC and DHL organizations.Integral parts of the position will be to (1) target rising star accounts, (2) position DHL as strategic supply chain partner, and (3) build a global pipeline for your portfolio. - Responsible for acceleration of divisional Net Growth from target Chinese Rising Star customers expanding cross-border into the world
- Drive targeting of high-growth customers originating from China that plan to expand in the assigned geography and globally
- Win new business: support DSC country teams around the globe for assigned CN customers in the bidding process, leveraging on DMS engagement with China based stakeholders
- Convince local teams about doing business differently according to Chinese companies' needs, in order to become competitive in this market
- Use standard best-practice approaches and processes developed by the (E-com) Rising Stars team and support the China Rising Stars approach
- Position DHL as key strategic supply chain partner globally for assigned rising star customers
- Grow share of wallet with target customers
- Leverage existing relationships with DMS team/ CSI/ other BUs to open doors with target accounts
- Maximize existing business retention and protect/ enhance margins
- Increase overall customer satisfaction
- Orchestrate and coordinate operational alignment
- A proven track record of working in a highly complex global, regional and local matrix environment – essential
- Market knowledge within China - essential
- Chinese plus either Spanish or Portuguese speaking capabilities – preferred
- A proven track record of delivering transformational growth – beneficial
- Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain/ Contract Logistics business – beneficial
- Business Development experience and experience within a leadership role of frontline Account Management or Business Development activities – essential
- Strong stakeholder management skills – essential
