- You will be responsible for the planning and execution of model changes on CNC machining machines used in the manufacture of aerospace components. This role is critical to ensure that the machining process is performed accurately and efficiently, meeting the quality and safety standards of the industry.
- Will be in charge of the adjustment of the rotation centers.
- You will prepare model changes following the master production plan.
- You will apply industry best practices following the SMED model.
- You will select the CNC program on the machine and enter the necessary tools for the operation, making sure that all parameters are correctly set.
- Verify the quality of the first part produced to ensure it meets the required specifications and release regular production.
- Document all changes made, including parameter adjustments and any problems encountered during the process of releasing the first conforming part.
- You will analyze defects by reviewing factors so that the last thing to be changed is the program, in addition to performing setup and alignment of fixtures, tables and chesse plates.
- You will recommend major program adjustments based on changes in machining strategy.
- You will support and back up programmers by being the first responder during a failure.
- You will measure model changeover time, cycle time.
- Train operating personnel in model changeover. Perform machining adjustments and modifications, complying with the tolerances and measurements established by Bombardier.
- You have a minimum academic degree as TSU.
- You have technical training in CNC Machining Centers, Industrial Mechanics or related areas.
- You have technical training as a fitter, structural assembler, CNC machining operator or related.
- You have at least 2 years of experience operating CNC machines (FANUC, Siemens, Haas, etc.) in industrial environments, or you are an installation technician with demonstrable CNC experience (FANUC, Siemens, Haas, etc.).
- You have knowledge of drawing interpretation, use of measuring instruments and machining processes.
- You have analytical skills, attention to detail and teamwork.
- Experience in deburring, polishing or handling finishing tools is desirable.
- You have a commitment to safety and industrial hygiene standards.
- Availability to work rotating shifts.
