- Managing purchasing activities based on specifications and predefined procedures to ensure delivery capability. The individual is responsible for ensuring suppliers deliver according to price, delivery time, and service level agreements.
- •Purchase parts/items of expertise area at the right quality, characteristics and volume.
- •Send RFQ to supplier.
- •Rate analysis and preparation of bid evaluation sheet.
- •Coordinate with quality team for Inspection Test Plan( ITP).
- •Creation and release of purchase order
- •Ensure receipt of order acknowledgement from supplier.
- •Review changes in engineering release and amend PO appropriately.
- •Maintain purchase order data base in archive.
- •Support SCM
- •Prepare cost estimation based on analysis of past pricing trends as basis for price setting and for planning and prioritizing of orders.
- •Participate in kick of meeting along with Sales, execution Manager/expeditor and quality.
- •Handle operational relations and interface with selected suppliers in order to build and maintain close relationship with suppliers.
- •New supplier registration and activation.
