The Impact You'll MakeDanfoss Mexico is looking for a Strategic Buyer, for our plant in Reynosa or Queretaro. As Strategic Buyer you will be responsible for operational procurement activities related to Fluid Conveyance hose materials and metal products, acting as a key point of contact for our suppliers while working hand in hand with our Operational and Supply Chain groups.What You'll Be Doing

Support organization goals and objectives with emphasis on cost savings, supplier performance, contribution margin, and sales.
Both regional and global supplier strategy and supplier capacity management for our hose and fitting product portfolio.
Sourcing, material change management, and PPAP activities.
Quoting and contract review, negotiation, and evaluation.
Supplier accountability for on-time delivery and reimbursement claims.
Negotiation and implementation of inventory solutions (CMI, VMI, 3PL, etc.).

What We're Looking For

Bachelors Degree (Logisitcs, Supply Chain, Operations Related)
3+ years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or parts/supplier management
SAP or other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, JD Edwards) working knowledge.
Siemens Teamcenter PLM knowledge.
Experience in negotiating quotes and contracts.
Experience with engineering changes and qualification activities (PPAP)
Visa and Passport
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
