IT Strategic Category BuyerThe IT & telecom hardware and IT consultants Strategic Category Buyers is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring hardware solutions as well specialized consultants that meet the organization's technological and operational needs. You will hold responsibility for all specific category within the Indirect Purchasing Team. You will negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, SOW’s and commercial requirements that meet internal stakeholder’s objectives and overall category strategy. You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external vendors. You will familiarize yourself with Autoliv’s supply base and work with internal stakeholders, and Global Category Management to create and execute Category Strategies.What you’ll do:
  • Develop category strategies, secure customer alignment, and execution.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal Business partners.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives to align with company goals.
  • Support of Global Category Strategies, Management, and key initiatives
  • Conduct competitive bids.
  • Negotiate and create contracts that reflects the negotiation.
What is required:
  • BS or BA in Purchasing, SCM, Engineering or another business-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT hardware purchasing, Category management, Contract management
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good administrating different projects and necessities
  • Good working knowledge of ERP purchasing systems, PPT, Word, Excel (pivot tables)
  • Negotiations and standard purchasing practices
