Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Test Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test systems and procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of electronic assemblies and products in a manufacturing environment. This role bridges design and production, ensuring that products meet performance and reliability standards before shipment.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate automated and manual test systems for PCBA and final product assemblies.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to define test requirements and strategies.
Develop test plans, procedures, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and drive corrective actions.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing test solutions aligned with production timelines.
Maintain and improve existing test equipment and software to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Ensure traceability and documentation of test results for audits and quality control.
Train production staff on test procedures and troubleshoot test-related issues on the production floor.
Project planning and management for test system development and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or test engineering role.
Proficiency in test development tools and languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, TestStand).
Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, ICT, FCT, and boundary scan tools.
Strong understanding of electronics, schematics, and PCB layout.
Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, Six Sigma).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SMT and PCBA manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
Familiarity with MES and ERP systems.
Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or IPC certifications.
